Michael's professional history combines a unique mix of public and private sector investigatory experience. His career began at the New York City Police Department (NYPD), where he investigated complex financial crimes within banks, government agencies, corporations, securities dealers, and organized crime syndicates. His work included leading extremely sensitive, high-profile investigations targeting high-profile figures.
Following his retirement from the NYPD in 2001, Mr. Lentini was hired as Lead Investigator for the Special Audit Investigations Group of the Philip Morris/Altria Corporation. At this Fortune 500 company, Mr. Lentini, led an international team of investigators and auditors, uncovering extensive fraud committed by company personnel, vendors, and outside contractors.
